Looking for some insight Model 3 experts. We picked up a 2021 SR+ last night and noticed there is a humming/base type sound with slight vibration that happens every minute or so. Can't hear the noise while you are driving and it can,t be heard outside. Seems to be isolated when the HVAC is operating. We have a Model Y also and this doesn't occur. Thoughts?

It could very well be the heat pump, but it shouldn’t be making this surging noise every few minutes. The heat pump in our model Y does not do this.

I also hear it on M3LR 2021 but only sometimes when parked and the inside temperature reached the desired value.
2021 Model Y. I'm getting the same low humming/bass sound too. When parked it's intermittent, hum lasts about a second every minute or so. Had a Tesla service technician over today and said it was a normal sound and comes from the heat pump. I'm still concerned as it has a very slight vibration. Can't hear the noise when driving.
