A 20-stall Supercharger is under construction in Richmond BC at CF Richmond Centre. Creds to @Poobearcretu for the find. Link: Richmond BC, Canada Supercharger!

It also looks like there is a new Supercharger at Strathmore AB.

Source: Todd Kennedy, Electric Vehicle Association of Alberta Facebook page

It looks like a 6 stall and fairly typical of the other Trans-Canada V3 locations. From the pictures, it looks like its awaiting the transformer and pedestal install.

Address seems to be at the back side of the Strathmore RBC
100 Ranch Market, Strathmore, AB T1P 0A8

Post from Electric Vehicle Assn. of Alberta (EVAA) Facebook page this morning....
Apparently there's Supercharger being installed at Strathmore, AB at the RBC Bank?
I don't think this has been reported before....

It looks like it's almost ready to go...

It's probably superfluous to tag @Chuq and @MarcoRP , but since it's been 6 minutes since the above post and Supercharger.info hasn't been updated yet, I'll do it! :)

Does this suggest another site is possible at Brooks, AB? Calgary to Bassano is about 140 km, so splitting that with Strathmore is close to 75 km, definitely very short. Bassoon to Medicine Hat is about 150 km, perhaps suggesting another split eventually, though maybe not a requirement. I know Tesla often spaces SCs closer on the outskirts of large cities, then increases spacing after a few SCs. This makes sense as travelers leave cities from many locations, on either side, and will reach lower SOC at different distances.

This might also just be a special case because the Rocky View supercharger is on the North outskirts of Calgary. This Strathmore location will allow a direct route from Canmore going East through Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway itself without having to go around on Stoney Trail to the Rocky View Supercharger to charge up. It probably won't save any time but could allow the full trip while staying on TC-1. The Strathmore location to the Canmore Supercharger is 153km through the centre of Calgary on TC-1.

This will be a welcome alternative as it gets cold... Medicine Hat to Calgary is a bit of a long leg with a headwind. I fought winds 30 gusting 50 km/h last week and was seriously looking at a stop in Strathmore to top up at the Peavy Mart. Having this and Bassano as options is pretty deluxe.

Add Brooks into the mix and it’d be positively luxurious!

Still blown away there isn't a supercharger in Calgary proper. The south part of the city is getting hosed.

I'm still blown away they haven't built anything in Montana that would directly link Calgary with the US network. I remember being promised they were imminent by the sales folk at the then brand-new Chinook store. This was pre-Model X days, so I think like 2015?

Perhaps Canadians are too polite to use superchargers for non-long distance travel.
Superchargers are not for long distance travel only. If they were, Vancouver wouldn't have 4 superchargers, the Greater Toronto Area wouldn't have 8, and Montreal wouldn't have 5. It's about convenience and have a reasonable safety net - literally the first line on the Tesla Supercharger website is "Stop along the world’s fastest charging network while you grab a quick bite to eat", not "only stop and use these if you are on a road trip".
