What’s the deal about the first 24-48 hours after delivery?

I feel like I’ve read in this forum somewhere that there’s some provision of special “privileges” (possibly including return for money back) on new Teslas for a certain number of hours and/or miles after delivery. Am I imagining this and, if not, could someone please point me to whatever this policy is?

As far as I know (after owning 3 Teslas), there are no special privileges for buying a new Tesla any more. There used to be a return option before if you return within or less than a week, not sure it is still available, as the demand for Tesla oustrips supply.

Yeah I never heard of this from Tesla either. In any case, I ain’t returning my amazing Model 3

Might be referring to you having to ID all the delivery defects to your Service Center.
