80 MPH is pretty much traffic speed in some areas, while anything faster than 55 mph might feel crazy in other parts of the US. I was quite surprised by this when I traveled a bit around.

In Miami, 80 MPH is the slow lane.

That's odd because I was in Austin this past November driving 100 miles to a small town and I was commonly doing 70-80 and people were still passing me. In New Jersey, everyone was doing 45-60. Going between LA to SF or LA to Vegas, 80-100 is pretty common.

Some parts of Austin toll road have a speed limit on 85 mph. Everyone usually drives 5 over so 90 mph is common

Texas State Highway 130!! I was shocked to see the "85" signs... for a split second I considered it may be "85 km/h" since sometimes the signs change to kilometers per hour near the border. After seeing how fast everyone else was going (especially the trucks, reminded me of Arizona) I set the cruise at 92 mph. Not a very EV friendly highway
