Driving to work this morning on I465-S after a string of severe thunderstorms passed through the area 15-20 minutes prior, my display started to flicker and then went black. I happened to be passing an electrical substation at that time, but did not see any obvious arcing/sparks in that facility. The display turned back on within 3 seconds - quicker than it would have had I reset it (by pressing both buttons on the steering wheel). Fortunately the driving dynamics did not change, neither did the automatic rain sensing windshield wipers which were activated at the time. But it’s the first time I saw this happen. I did a manual reset of the system afterwards for good measure. Has anybody else experienced something similar?
