What changed in the frunk?

    Was looking at the mat options on the Tesla site and saw this message under the Frunk mats:
    Please note that this front trunk mat will not fit in Model S with VIN > P21270. A new mat is in development.

    What changed that they need to say this? I thouight that the general dimensions of the car haven't changed since its introduction.

    Newer VINs have a smaller cubby in the back of the frunk. I believe they moved the DC-DC inverter or something

    Exactly, the DC-DC converter moved from the front passenger wheel well to right behind the small "microwave" space in the frunk, thus reducing its available size. There is a thread about that there: Tesla Frunk mat doesn't fit
