Traded in my 2015 Corvette for a 2016 Model S 90D and will likely have to push retirement back a year. The Tesla is faster and more comfortable, but I do miss that Corvette engine sound.
Hmmm, I have so many positive vibes from buying the Tesla that I forgot what I gave up
I will say though with the auto deposits and automatic payments each month I don't really feel it. Money comes in, money goes out w/o me ever touching it. But I do notice extra cash in my pocket from not needing to stop for gas at least once a week. Used to spend about $200 a month in gas. Now, trips upstate would be virtually free if not for those damn tolls!
'nother thing. I gave up my garage for , well, a ton 'a *sugar*! All over the garage that I seem to be always cleaning. I had a Corvette in there until 2014 and somehow in 2+ years it's filled with shat. So my wife will have to give up that storage because I plan on clearing it out for my Tesla soon. Just need to broach that subject with her
I promised to sell your 2001 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet, but it didn't help my situation one bit. And I stopped working so I would have more time for the car.
