Everyone was already calling it Tezz, and Tezz was available in my state, so not only did I name it Tezz, but I ordered a 4 year plate with TEZZ on it. Waiting for the plates.

Ice. Midnight metallic, white interior, seems to fit. Plus added irony value of it not being an internal combustion engine.

Although I have changed the name to 2-wicked a few times.

Wraith - Like the Charlie Sheen 80's movie. A bit obscure of a reference but the people who get the reference love it.

    No K.I.T.T. or K.A.R.R.?

We called ours TESSI...I know it's boring. My i3 plate was STORMi3 (white, like a Stormtrooper) and our plug-in Prius is PIPPI so wanted to keep with the "ie" sound.

I was leaning toward K.I.T.T. before I got the car, it seemed like the obvious choice. But once I saw the car The Wraith image pulled itself from the pop culture reference database of my brain and stuck with me. If the voice commands really get to the next level, I will want to call it K.I.T.T. again I'm sure.

Blue October - because that's my wife's favorite band (wanted her to feel like it's her car, too - we both drive it whenever possible) and of course, "...engage the silent drive." I have an issue with double entendres - it's a sickness.

If it were just me, I would probably have named it Innisfree.

My 3 is Freya. Meaning “Lady” in Old Norse mythology. She is the goddess associated with love, sex, beauty, fertility, gold, war, and death. All appropriate for this amazing car, she is beautiful and engaged in a war with ICE. She will prevail...

We named our X after the large red/black dragon in Game of thrones: Drogon so I figured we would stick with the theme and call our model 3: Viserion after the second dragon (when we pick it up tomorrow)

A friend of ours is from Holland and she pronounces "three" as "shree" so, that's our car's name (just as soon as we get her).

Don't have it yet, but going to name it 3 Solaran. After the alien race in the Three Body Problem with way superior technology to ours.

#3 - Sparky, LOL. Our other EV is named Sparky, because it's a Chevy Spark. But you can't name the car in the car like a Tesla. I made my own sticker for the back window, though, featuring the car's full name, which we decided on the day we bought it: Sparky Sparky Boom Car.

And if you get that reference, you probably also get why our blue & white Model 3 has been named The Blue Spirit.

Our future EVs will be given names such as The Blind Bandit, The Painted Lady, and Hot Leaf Juice.
