What did you name your Tesla?

Mine is "Gunter" after the Lost in Space robot who was a Class M3 Model B9 General Utility Non-Theorizing Environmental Control Robot.

I figured since Gunter was a Class M3, it was a sign and I had to do it. Plus I liked the reference to Space - because SpaceX. And what sealed the deal for me is that Gunter is described as a machine endowed with superhuman strength and futuristic weaponry, and often displayed human characteristics, such as laughter, sadness, and mockery! This just seemed to fit me and the car perfectly (reference the whoopee cushion).

Maybe I'll name my second Tesla Will Robinson.

Just an FYI, it’s KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand, originally, though there is also a Three Thousand). Anyway, not KIT. Also it’s Knight Rider. Not Nightrider.

I didn't know that! I thought the Lost in Space robot was called Robot. At least, I think that's how Will addressed him.

It'd be great if when your car detected something sketchy ahead it would say, "Danger, Will Robinson!"

Mine is named XD-1 which is short for Discovery One, the name of the white spaceship from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey! And with sentry mode on ‘Hal 9000’ is present too!!!

The character in the show is very sweet and adorable but (spoiler) has the ability to destroy galaxies/the universe. Seemed appropriate as this car is just a delight in everyday driving and destroys everything at the lights.

I'm not a sci-fi fan, so I don't know The expanse. But if they called their badass gunship Rocinante then the writers were ignorant heathens. Rocinante was as mild and inoffensive as his owner was insane.
