What do we think about the added charger package for $1500, worth it?

I paid $1000 initially. My car charges from 10% to 90% in about 4 hours. In most cases it would not be a big deal to take twice as long but my cheapest rates are for 7 hours only. I think the real value would be when there are ganged chargers at hotels etc.

I think the fifty percent increase in amperage accomplishes a couple of things--

It frees up a destination charger sooner so that another owner can use it.

It reduces charging times for a mid-day stop for lunch or a side excursion.

It opens up more territory to drive your car off the SC highway with minimum down time. A 300-mile leg with a 70A public charger somewhere halfway in between will let you add 100 miles of range in about two hours at 208V. At 48A it would take about three hours.
