General dentist and loving it...can't believe I've been doing this for 10 years already. Hopefully one of my kids take over the practice in 20-25 years when I plan to retire.
I'm a 'Quantity Surveyor' - people think I count bricks but basically I look after the cost element of construction projects (predominantly civil engineering projects).
I'm an Electrical Engineer, specializing in hardware (custom electronics) and firmware design. I'm not THAT old, but I'm really looking forward to retiring so that I can spend more time driving my Tesla!
I'm a private teacher and owner of a small institute doing after-school coaching to help kids to pass their exams and get their graduations from school. My duty is teaching Maths (85-90%), a little bit English and German.
This first job is of course self employed. There is a second one being reserve officer and commander of the German Artillery School. Not self employed ....:biggrin::biggrin:
"Retired" from software development career (Apple, Corbis, Amazon). Founded a small, independent K-12 school in Davidson, NC and now teach/coach there. My students loved it when I brought in the Tesla for a demo the day after it was delivered.
I am an Electrical Manufacturer's Rep....I sell a lot of the "stuff" needed to bring the power to your HPWC/Nema 14-50. I am also a horse farm owner - manure shoveller. Some say both jobs are the same.....
PS: farming is WAY more fun.
Well, I've been around TMC for a few years now, but as of December 31st I have retired from my position on the senior leadership team of an electric distribution utility. Not sure I'll stay retired, but will enjoy some down time for now. My calendar sure hasn't looked this this in, well... ever:
