What do you do when you have a flat tire on a MX

And in my lifetime I only needed my spare once and it was because I ignored the tell tale "tick, tick, tick, tick" of the sound of a screw in my tire. Which lead to me driving it at freeway speeds at progressively lower pressures until it completely shredded itself. I won't ignore that sound any more!

Living on a gravel road, the tick-tick-tick sound is almost always a rock in my tread. I've been fooled enough times that I'm sadly immune to that sound.
