What do you use your "Rear Inner Storage" for?

Hey folks.

So im curious what everyone uses their "Rear Inner Storage" for?

Its semi difficult to get to, pretty shallow.
So What do you folks put in there?

Personally, I put stuff back there that I rarely use. Mobile charger, pucks, first aid kit, snow emergency gear, air compressor. LED road flares

I like the idea on the LED road flares. I had no idea that existed. Pretty cool, just looked those up on amazon. I get my Y on Sunday, And from the pictures the space looked really small. Didn't know there was all that room there.

I also bought energizer lithium AA batteries for them so no fear of leaking during storage

Air compressor (with hazard lights), charging adapter, tire repair kit and snow scraper. Cargo liner provides easy access and nothing moves around.

My lower trunk compartment is almost always empty for the simple reason that I cannot get to it when the trunk is full. And when the trunk is not full, I obviously don't need it.

The only situation where I use it is when I travel and need the entire space including the secret chamber to pack everything. Upon arrival I unload the trunk, I usually forget about the lower storage, and when I miss something, I rediscover it.

It is the perfect place to put grocery bags so they don't tip over and spill the contents. several bags will fit in there. But oh, the indignity when I need to get out of the car to open it for the grocery pickup person to load it for me.

Mine won't fit there so I keep it in the side trunk well.

As for the forward trunk well, I have my charger, tire repair kit, and pucks. The big trunk well is where I put groceries to keep them from sliding around.

Nice! But that is the deep trunk storage, he was asking about the shallow one in front of that storage location.
