What does thIs Elon Tweet mean regarding HW3 upgrades

I’ve been kind of wondering where HW3 upgrades falls in as far as these new FSD after purchase prices goes.

The main reason I bought FSD with the car was for HW3 regardless of the progress on FSD firmware itself.

If I were to pay for FSD today I sure would want to know where HW3 upgrades comes into play.

This Tweet implies those that did buy FSD either before Feb 28 or with the car will get HW3 and for those that didn’t?

The concern was it's not fair that some pay FSD for less and some pay at a more expensive price.

What Elon Musk answered was: It is not exactly fair for people who pay FSD with different prices but one they paid for it, they will get it, no matter at what price.

That means if you didn't pay for it, you won't get it.

Since FSD requires at least HW3, so HW3 will be in their cars eventually so they can enjoy FSD that they paid.
