Just curious what fun things people are doing with their Model Y’s. Are you taking it to the racetrack? Going on off-road adventures? Hitting the beach? Anything in between? Post up and show some photos! I’d love to see how people are making use of this great piece of technology.

I’ll start. Today I took a drive up to my local mountain, mostly to just get away for a little while and get some fresh air. It’s also a fun place to take photos or do some canyon carving (or both).

Today, I got a house window replaced due to a bird strike which cracked it and I took some brush/twigs in a tarp to the local dump brush pile. We are in a drought situation so can't burn it at home.

Earlier this year, took it up and down the mountain. It is a blast to drive in the mountains. My consumption chart (in my profile picture) shows off the fun.

Man, I remember when you could drive on the beach...so long ago...

I'm curious about this as well. If you took any photos, please post them!

i don't have any photos but checkout RPM Tesla - they install it in SoCal and also have detailed video instructions once you purchase it - a person i know installed it for me took about 1.5hrs - super clean all hidden wires and good reaction times (no delay in opening the trunk; there's about a 2 sec delay when closing the trunk)

I installed the HEPA filters from Abstract Ocean and my license plate (rear). Still trying to source a better way to mount the front.

I picked her up from her time at the service center, only to find more issues than there were when I dropped her off.

To make myself feel better I installed a bit of chrome delete. Not sure why the license plate holder was ever chrome, it doesn't match anything else on the car.

Now to fix the issues that came FROM the service center. o_O

Well, also noticed today that when the SC repainted my rear deck lid, they neglected to install a new Tesla “T” emblem. Good thing I’d ordered satin black emblems a while back, this is a good reason to install them. The process was really straightforward, except at the rear because I had nothing to go by for placement. I think it all turned out nice anyway.

    New front emblem installed.

I finished the "blackout" treatment on the rear with a new "Dual Motor" badge.

I think it looks pretty clean now. I also ceramic coated the black trim around the car and the wheels. We'll see how well they hold up to the elements.

I almost did that one but thought the red lettering would compliment the red calipers. Post some pics when you put it on!

Will a model 3 curved T badge that covers the existing emblem work on the model Y? Trying to get some clarity on this.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here. There are the vinyl stickers that go over the T and the complete replacement T's. I haven't seen a "cover" yet? I'd imagine it should work, I believe they are the same size and approx. shape, but I am not 100% sure.
