Yup. The instant torque is amazing when you need it for passing and puts a smile on my face every time. I'm usually running between 50-70% SoC so it's not the full 'Boost experience, either. ;)

Do you recall all of the maintenance your gassers required had and how much you spent? I'm projecting a bit, but I get the feeling that it weighed on the NSX owner. An NSX is way more complex than a typical Honda so they probably didn't think it was worth the additional wear and tear to pass me.

I charge up to 90% which is a great balance between available range and maximizing acceleration and regenerative breaking. So, each time I leave my garage, I have a little more than 290 miles of stated range.

My Porsche Boxsters were anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 every 10,000 miles. My Mercedes SLs were a little more than that.

Nice cars! It's great to have the 'Boost ready for when you need it. :)

It's a bit counter-intuitive, but a Tesla is a frugal option.

What level tint did you get? I like how it matches the rear windows. I have a blue and white MYP coming.

I got 15% which matches the back really well for a nice uniform, sporty look.

Congrats on your MYP...you’ll love the color combo. And, based on my experience with my LR w/Acceleration Boost, the Performance is going to knock your socks off!

I was able to make passes safely, and very quickly, with the power of the Model Y. I'm very happy with the performance. I'm just shocked at how much faster I was able to charge and get back on the road compared to my Model X. Now I know the refreshed Model S/X are supposed to charge faster, but I purchased a year or so too early (of course ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Just got my car back from the body shop. They delivered to my house and offered to return my rental for me too.

Will need to tint my reflector again and either debadge the T or wrap it again.

Put in some new lights while I’m at it.

Well, I went for a little drive up Angel's Crest. It was perfect weather up there, very few people/vehicles. Did a few hundred miles on the day, mostly driving pretty hard, and still got home with about 100mi in reserve. A couple of pic's of the journey.

Also found a few interesting buildings on the back side of the mountain. Pretty cool juxtaposition of new -vs- original architecture.

Beautiful man, one of my favorite areas to ride on 2 wheels - looking forward to taking the Y on one of these weekends!
