What is best financing rate now?

Has anyone gone through clearpath FCU and then rate-matched to lightstream?
Lightstream is complaining that the loan says pre-approval on the condition that I join the credit union via a $5 donation ...
They want to see "approved".

Any ideas?

Preapproval without a VIN should be a no-brainer for any bank or CU. They typically do need the VIN for final loan approval.

I highly recommend clearpath fcu in Glendale. Approved same day, 1.99% 60 months. Put down $5k (plus another $2500 deposit). Had to donate $5 for their charity, happy to do so.

Do they ask you to do auto pay or create a checking account with them? I’ve been getting quotes from a few places and the lowest one require a checking account and auto pay for 3.24%...
