What is the light on the roof?

When the display shifts to an overhead view of my car there is a light? reflection of the sun? on the roof. What does it all mean? Don't think it is the 3rd brake light, the other brake lights aren't lit.

This has been discussed before several times... the consensus is that it's a reflection of the sun, moon or other light source of your choosing. Nothing special about it other than Tesla software engineers being given too much time and effort to be used on silly (IMO) stuff, instead of solving real problems.

It would be cool if it based it on the current weather. Like showing that awesome amber colored roof when it’s raining.
