What is the most efficient way to charge a USB Type-C laptop in a Tesla?

Could USB - USB Type-C cable work in that case?
Maybe some kind of 12v socket charger is better?
Should I buy 12v -> 220v converter (Europe)?

Anyone got any experience here? Thanks.

First, for those talking about the Model 3 fuses, you are incorrect. The Model 3 doesn't have fuses. Just protective MOSFETS controlled by the computer.

What's the most efficient way to charge, that's a slightly dubious question.

What's the easiest way? A USB Type A to USB C cable.

What's the way to get the most current? You need to find a high current USB C 12V adaptor.

If you are talking about an Apple, that's probably your options. Other manufacturers often can use both USB C and their standard solution. And if they have a 12V adapter for their standard solution, that's probably the best.

Good thing this is a Model S forum.

Easy? Sure, but the USB ports in the car will provide ~10 watts at most. That's about 6 hours to charge the battery in a 13" Macbook Pro. Far from practical.

Agree. The 12v USB-PD charger linked up thread is really the best bet. At $30, a no-brainer.
