I went to Orchard supply in Sunnyvale today. When I came out, I can't tell which one is my blue Tesla?

Mod, feel free to move this into the right thread.

Nice! Either you, or the other guy, parked up in the lot on El Camino near Marie Callender's (opposite Best Buy) a few days ago, a row back and a little across from my grey P85+. Great looking car, either way.

Would have said hi, but the owner was off elsewhere doing more important things. :)

Aha! I guess my "the other guy" comment was a bit of a false assumption, my apologies. :)

I live just around the other side of that little shopping area - had stopped to grab some groceries on my way out and noticed the shiny blue S across the parked row. It's really interesting how quickly we seem to develop a sort of radar for other Tesla vehicles once there's one sitting in the driveway.

I don't own a Tesla because I can't drive, but I live in Mountain View CA, and my friends are growing weary of me interrupting a conversation in the car to point and yell excitedly, "OOH there's a Tesla!" as we drive around Silicon Valley. At first this was once in a while, now it is all the time, and it makes me VERY happy!

Fun to see this actually becomes a valid game to play. However we need to raise the bar a little bit. One minimum requirement is that your MS has to be in the picture. Next to each other or same color or not can be lax a bit.
So the same day we went to Castro st in mountain view, this time my blue tesla is the one plays the pair up role:

Norcalgal and Rowlock, are you guys attending the TESLIVE next week? or this Sunday's owners' coffee in the morning?

I am now one of 20 founders for the TESLIVE event next week. Looking forward to seeing all of you attend the event!

this thread is a great evolutionary product from the original "random sightings".. now, a reportable event requires at least 2 model s'... very soon, it will require 3 to qualify as a meaningful report

Alas I won't be there - it filled up before I got a spot. Sounds like a good weekend though, definitely going to try to get to the 2014 one. Haven't heard about the coffee morning though, I'll look for more info. :)
