What is this icon? (The cone thing, not the music note)
It is an indicator that you are approaching a zen garden, and that you should drive cautiously, so that you do not disturb patron's meditation.
If I recall correctly, tap that icon and the screen will show a view of the car top down and any obstacles that the ultrasonic sensors are picking up.
Man! I had no idea there were so many zen gardens around! This thing goes on and off all the time.
sensors. the buttons shows at low speeds and reversing
WHY did it never occur to me to tap the icon?! You are right! That's what it does. Thanks!
That's probably the last time you'll ever tap it, also.
I really hope they update the software and provide a 360 degree birds eye stitched camera view when backing up. An escalade I rented from enterprise did this. Pretty neat.
True! I have long had more or less the same image showing up on the left side of the dashboard. I don't need 2.
Not really possible.
Cameras don't really look where they should for this.
Its useless, or am I missing its purpose?
When it flashes on, I refer to it as "the wicked witch of the west was here before a house dropped on her" icon.
I'm assuming it's a placeholder for a feature yet to come. But the whole wicked-witch theory works, too.
I hope you are right because clearly my childhood was terribly traumatized and I need some relief.
Jokes aside, I use this occasionally.
You can turn off the parking sensors BEEPING at you if you hit this.
Is this forum great or what! I'm gonna try it. Every time I pull into my crowded garage, I get beeping. Now, when I open the garage door I'll hit the witches hat and ease 'er in quietly! Thanks.
Nope, didn't work. I still get the beeping.
