In my charging bundle, I have:
    1. A UMC
    2. J1772 adapter
    3. NEMA 14-50 Adapter
    4. NEMA 5-15 Adapter

and a mystery screwy thing that looks like this but is black:

A quick online search tells me it's a towing eye and it's used to tow my car?

It's more like a hook to drag your car onto a flatbed. Should the car not be able to move on it's own, you need this to safely attach to a winch to move the car

My car arrived with it flopping around in the frunk. :/.

I thought that was a bit odd that it doesn't have a dedicated storage place, but I relocated it to a small bag I keep in the lower rear trunk area that has my charger kit and a couple other things.

There you go... RTFM. I guess there's a spot for it in the charging kit bag -- thanks, Gwgan.

Hmm. Mine is stored under the frunk mat. There is a cut out for it. I also keep my j1772 in the deep side slot of the glovebox so i dont have to open the trunk and bag.

I believe the 'cutout in the floor' evaporated with the refresh, no? Seems like something slipped through the upgrade, as so often does. I plan to wrap it in a little bubble wrap and stuff it in the UMC bag.
