What Kind of Car Did The Model 3 Replace?

2018 Prius Technology Edition...great MPG...crappy infotainment system and sluggish UI. Design wasn't my favorite either. Love my M3 SR+
Gas guzzling bmw 545i v8. The ride and cabin noise was superior but everything else the p3d is worlds better.
2014 toyota rav4. It did its job and the only reason i traded that in instead of my wifes 2009 yaris was its worth more.
2009 VW Passat CC, Dirty Diesel, the controls were much easier to operate than with a Model 3 but I've no doubt I will get used to them.
2009 Toyota Camry XLE. It was a bit long in the tooth, but I like not having a payment and the Camry served our family well. I was going to replace it with a 2020 Camry Hybrid until my wife started campaigning for a Model 3. Ran the numbers and with the PA rebate and federal tax credit the M3SR+ came out slightly cheaper than a top-of-the-line Camry Hybrid. The M3 is a good bit more expensive to insure (GEICO - about $67/month more than the Camry), but the fuel savings and reduced maintenance costs more than compensate.

Traded in my 2009 Chevy HHR for my SR+. Such an improvement!
Didn't get too much for the trade-in, but it was paid off, so any amount was good!

2018 Golf R 6MT. I miss rowing the gears, but only a little bit, and don’t regret the trade-in. Insurance cost actually went down for me, but then a week later my 16-year old got his license and my insurance cost doubled. Such is life,

I had 2018 Kia Stinger Limited AWD 365 horse power
But would never look back!
If anyone interested, I still have my winter tires and rims of the Kia Stinger.
2018 Stinger also, but only a lowly "premium" model.
It will replace a 2017 Chevy Volt in Kinetic Blue. Loved that car, but I have a feeling I'm going to love this M3...when it arrives

my stealth 2020 model 3 replaced 2011 bmw 335ix with downpipe, JB4, lowered on kw coilover, etc.. and M3 blows it away!

That beast took around $400 a month of fuel and maintenance.
