What kind of options/upgrades are you considering and why?

air suspension, but it would have to blow my mind to make me buy it, not just be a slight improvement.

Way too much optimism about that. Likelihood that Tesla Model 3 come with air suspension is way below 20%.
But maybe adjustable dampers will be available. That doesn't take a lot of space, weight nor engineering resources.

Air suspension is not available even on BMW 5-series, not to mention 3-series.

The alphas had SAS. Not that being on them is a guarantee it'd make it into production, but guessing it's much higher chance than 20% if they spent the time/effort to engineer it for the alphas.
