What order do I do my things in if I'm looking to finance + trade in car?

I am getting a quote from Tesla to trade my car in, but do I wait for them to get back with me on what they will offer before going with Tesla for financing? Or should I lock in the financing with Tesla right now and if I receive a quote I like, does it apply straight to my financing?

Doesn't particularly matter what order you do things in. None of it is final until you sign the final contract. They will get all the numbers together, before that.
