A fully synthetic coolant should be able to last a very long time in a low temperature environment like a Tesla.

They aren't that low. The rotor and inverter can heat the coolant upwards of 150 degrees without issue. It's just standard 50/50 ethylene glycol with more corrosion inhibitors, as everything is aluminun.

That is very low compared to an ICE drivetrain.

It's my understanding that glycol in antifreeze solutions never deteriorates and it can be recovered and reused. It's the lubricants and corrosion inhibitors that fail with heat and time.

If there was a way to refresh these additives I would do that instead of a flush and refill. It just may not be that easy on a Tesla coolant system so flush and refill per the service schedule is my plan.

Oh yes, they also updated the SW in my CHAdeMo adapter which I requested.
