They could answer their own Marketing class homework questions, instead of posting it on an Internet forum?

This person posted two questions along these lines back to back last night and it's the only posts they've ever made. It does seem like they have some other agenda like they are trying to get help with their homework.

A better question would have been to be up front about why they were asking and first get answers to the question of what Tesla already does in the marketing area. Tesla is in a marketing situation that is the envy of most other companies in the world. They spent virtually 0 on advertising, yet a large segment of the world knows who they are and at least some basics about what they are doing. Though talking to people about Tesla, many people are vague about the details beyond Tesla being a different kind of car company.

Tesla is a lot better known in California than elsewhere. I haven't run into many around here who didn't know what Tesla was, but many thought it was a hybrid and most people don't know about things like the superchargers.
