I could be wrong, but I saw that you have to put $2,500 deposit to in order to place an order.

And leasing wasn't an option through Tesla. (At least at this time.)

In CA you need to keep an EV for 30 months, in order to retain the CA Rebate. Therefore a 24 month lease would not be a good idea. Not sure how it is in other states. I also would like a Zero Down, but could settle for $2500 max down.
