I'm assuming they've tested this but if it's driving and something quickly knocks you off course (blown tire, big hole in road, etc) will it try to correct?

Hydroplaning triggered the "Take Over Immediately" alert for me once. I suspect any loss of traction would trigger that alert.

Same for any sudden tire pressure change.
Eventually I'm sure it'll get to the point of throwing on the hazards, slowing, and moving to the shoulder. But today it is not equipped to handle damage to the vehicle.
