What will be the advantages for Tesla users if all Tesla charging stations become publicly available?

A variety of factors:
  1. It will be quite some time before "all" stations accept other cars. To do so requires either installing new (much longer) CCS cables on some or all of the charging stalls, or possibly equipping the stations with a not yet created TPC to CCS connector which CCS users can get, attach to the TPC and then return.
  2. They might not adapt all stalls, just some of them. In particular, unless a car has its charge port rear left or right front, there must be a way to have a much longer cable for CCS charging.
  3. In some states, laws may require one of the stalls support CHAdeMO
  4. Some stations will become busier, at least for some time, until other new stations are built in the area, or Tesla owners make more use of CCS stations in the area.
  5. Newer CCS cars will be able to just "plug and play" if they have an account with Tesla if they support "plug and charge," just as Teslas do. However, older cars without plug and charge will also need the Tesla app though a credit card may also be needed.
  6. CCS users will probably have to pay more than Tesla drivers, or get lower priority at the stations, which may keep them away.
  7. Tesla may elect to first adapt stations which are low utilization. Money from CCS users will be all gravy for those stations and not affect Tesla drivers at all.
  8. The extra money received will help fund the building of more superchargers, both near existing high-load ones, and in new locations. That will be good news for all EV owners.
  9. If CCS drivers pay more than Tesla drivers, they will eventually subsidize the stations for Tesla drivers, which should be good. However, there will also be situations where a station sees a line where it did not see one before, which is bad.
  10. Type 2 SCs, which share power between A and B ports, may get busier, slowing charging for both cars.
At a basic level though, the arrival of CCS cars at Teslas SCs is otherwise identical to more Teslas being sold, which is of course happening very fast. As more Teslas are sold, Tesla needs to build more SC. If CCS cars are supported, Tesla also has to build more SC. The former was funded from car sales, the latter must be funded from fees charged to CCS drivers, including higher prices.
