Has anyone thought of naming their Model 3 "Serenity"? With Elon's "spaceship" comments, it seems a possible choice. I don't name my cars, or I might use that one.

"The Tesla" which will replace "the Honda"(if it lasts that long). Unless it ends up with plates that can be named. ie. the BMW wagon with JERxxx plates became known as Jerry the German.

Joules. I have custom plates waiting to be picked up at the DMV. Since "Joules" was taken, I decided on "Joul3s" which is pretty appropriate for Model 3 anyway.

All of our family car names are female. My partner's Honda Accord Hybrid is named LaFawnDuh, after the character in Napoleon Dynamite.

My white MS is Casper so im thinking Kaonashi as mine will be all black. Sort of reminds me of the ghost type character from Spirited Away.

Just a thought, might work?: Write the name in Japanese in your word processor, and then post a screen capture. Of course, most of us won't be able to read it.

That's what I'm naming my Model 3. Had to decide between Serenity or Singularity, but since I'm not going for Enhanced Auto Pilot or Full Self Driving then Singularity doesn't apply as much. Serenity is my choice too because I always try to avoid stress, and of course for the reference to Serenity/Firefly series/movie.
