We know the folks helping to put this on represent us and so I expect an awesome meet-up. That being said, never hurts to have too many good ideas. So let's offer thoughts to the planners to help them put the finishing touches on things. I'd like to see the Model X prototype (Beta?) at some point during the conference.
I'd like to be able to buy some unique clothing, like golf shirts or jackets that haven't been available before.
Here's a few: 1. A sneak peak at the screens behind the Tesla T in the Model S 2. Merchandise that we can see and touch such as Loyd's matts, Rims, Weathertech etc 3. Announcements by Tesla 4. "1 of a Kind" Key Fobs that replaces our current ones that are cracking and they are unique to event attendees 5. Someone authoritative from Tesla to explain service packages, software and hardware updates 6. How to turn on wifi and hard drive for Model S 6. Free 3G for teh MS for life for attendees
I'd LOVE an aluminum fob. I was tempted to say how much it's worth to me, but I haven't figured out the number yet.
Such a thing was suggested before, but I heard that their insurance company may have nixed that idea, unfortunately.
I would like to get some insight as to future software features and Supercharger locations planned. #dreaming A chance for Elon to sign our cars, like he did in SxSW, with photo ops, would be something easily done and would be a major thrill. Something the organizers might be able to do is to provide geographical groups so local groups can find fellow enthusiasts we didn't know before.
I would like a USB cellphone charger made with one Tesla sourced Panasonic NCR18650A cell. It's worth noting that one cell can recharge an iPhone twice.
A factory tour, maybe something a bit more involved than the normal tour (not that I've been on one yet). Rear parking sensors for everyone that attends
I second AndyM's request/suggestion to see if Elon will do a photo op, sign autographs (owners manual, the car itself for those of us fortunate enough to be able to drive there).
1) workshop on "how to get more 30-40 A J1772 EVSEs at hotels and resorts." 2) workshop on "how to get more "generic" DC fast chargers installed" to fill other routes not covered by Superchargers. GSP
Meet and greet and autograph session with Elon Musk, plus availability to test drive and sale of model cars
I know this is a long shot, but how about some Model S loaners for those of us who have to fly in for the event? Oh, wait: this isn't a TM corporate event, it's a grass-roots, enthusiasts' shindig. Scratch that... ...So, can anybody pick me up at the airport on Friday afternoon? In a Model S, preferably...:biggrin:
Tesla should loan a few MS's to volunteers of TESLIVE; then use these cars to pick up people from the airport
