Another good question. They are being installed in the southern hemisphere now as far as I can tell. Kind of makes sense. Here is the best news report I found on the installation. I understood they are releasing the 2.0 version this summer. The 1.0 was released 30th of April, so end of May/beginning of June?

Interesting to see how have they managed to ramp up production in the gigafactory since the end of the year. At least the truck traffic in the 4k drone footage looked positive.
