Got an update last night and it just says minor fixes. What is that??
FYI: there is an long, ongoing thread regarding update reports and other useful update info, if can be found here:
Also can look here: http://ev-fw.com/track-reports.php
I've seen the same release notes "minor fix and improvements" for the last 6 updates.
How do I use that?
First you have to create an account. Do that at the top where it says Log On / Sign Up.
Then as your car gets updates you can add them to the list. Just don't expect to get everyone. I don't know that anyone outside of Tesla knows why any particular car gets any particular update. I just got the latest today despite there having been 5 or 6 updates since I last received on.
As has been mentioned most updates are very minor. I think we're all waiting for the next big one, version 8.0.
Does ev-fw show you what the changes are or just show you version numbers? It's not a very intuitive interface.
That may be because they are minor fixes and improvements. When an update gives new functionality they'll tell us. That's not likely until the big 8.0 update.
