The editors clearly misunderstood what they meant by "solar on your roof." =)

Good video - especially for folks unfamiliar with EVs - good to have media outlets begin to provide positive education as opposed to focusing on negatives.

I have Solar on my house & business - so I get free juice for my Tesla. You can NOT generate enough juice from the limited amount of space on a vehicle to run it 100%. The video was very good though... HouseSmall2.jpg

I'd take exception to that statement, in that you can't generate enough juice from the limited amount of space on a vehicle to run it 1%.

But... Can you generate enough juice to overcome the vampire losses?
How about to cool battery in the intense summer sun / heat in the southern states?

Once they get sleep mode working again, maybe. Right now, no.

Not likely. You'd probably get enough to run a fan to bring some fresh air into the cabin.
