What's Tesla putting on sale for the end of the quarter?

Tesla has no real reason to run a sale. Still selling more than they can make, tax credit is enough incentive etc etc. I would be very surprised if we see any sales of any sort.
I am not sure. If I ordered a SR and it left the factory within a few days, I wonder what the demand/back log really is. But yea, doesn't look like a fire sale this quarter's end.

No sale for the end of the second quarter for sure, as there are still incentives to be had in the U.S. and Canada. I note that many people are now getting their vehicles within a few weeks of ordering, so the North American back log is not that big at present. It will grow as they likely switch to European production in July and early August. I think they will need to do something to stimulate sales in the 3rd and 4th quarter ends. Expected S and X refresh will help a bit, but they will likely do something for the 3 for year end. Perhaps free premium paint, now that they are introducing a free lower end white paint, as standard.

Canadian $5k rebate should last until our fall election, then likely gone.

I've seen at least 4 or 5 people get discounted cars in the past week. Heck a made to order LR rwd, multiple people in that thread for 1500 discount just cuz. It's weird. I definitely feel annoyed for paying full price lol.

Well, while we're making purely anecdotal observations ;), I've noticed that the existing inventory in most major markets this week, while getting frequently replenished, indexes very heavily on aero wheels. Very few inventory cars anywhere with 19" or 20" wheels. There could be no reasoning behind this, or they could've overproduced aero wheels, or there could be sport wheel production delays. The latter seems possible with the launch of RHD, etc.
Yep, same here with those are wheels, not a single one in stock with 19's. Glad I got em.

Completely anedotal... but those two Paramus vehicles I saw are gone - replaced by two other Model 3's. I really, truly don't believe there's a demand issue. If they can build and ship it, I think they can sell it... We're not overrunning the factory, at least not yet.

Now, if demand can hold until Model Y begins its ramp, or Gigafactory 3 comes online, or the pickup starts taking orders, they'll be fine.

Bright days ahead. I really believe that. A little over 2 months of Tesla ownership for me, and the idea of buying any gas vehicle seems completely absurd. Trying to figure out how to lemon law my wife's Enclave (which apparently has a GM-knows-about-it-but-doesn't-have-a-fix engine problem) and get her into a Model X now. :)
