I thought he needed a special part to get the OEM front cover work...
I have this awesome bumper I spent 4000 from China and my car got totalled so now I got it sitting here. Want to sell it. I would keep and use but I'm gonna get the newer model s. This
Bumper is for older refresh. I live in Los angeles.

I also have the old bumper I am selling. The dark blue one. It's all almost perfect except the one fog light is gone. Also I have a perfect dark blue hood. Maybe sell all of it for 1500?

If anyone is interested I purchased this custom nose refresh on eBay from China it comes with the tight skirts and rear diffuser it's awesome. I was in a car accident before I was able to put it on. Everything is still brand new. I paid $3,800 so I'm looking to get maybe three thousand. It's Plastic with fiberglass reinforcement in the back of the nose. I live in Los Angeles by the Beverly Center and the Grove. Let me know if anyone is interested

I have a unplugged performance bumper I purchased and just installed for fitment but can’t use it cause I’m going to be doing a widebody kit and the front spoilers don’t fit it flush with the way they designed it. I have figured a way to use either the oem v-stripe or the one that comes with the bumper as well as limited the gap issues. Instead I’m going to instal a prior design widebody kit which I also tested for fitment. Here are some pictures. If you live in Arizona I can help install it at a fraction of the price places like new image (Tesla certified shop and who unplugged suggests for their customers that are in az). I paid $3,000 plus $275 for shipping. Asking $2,700

Also there is a really nice facelift conversion kit which includes front and rear bumpers as well as better looking fog lights etc. Reminds me of a Panamera’s bumper fog lights. It’s actually pretty reasonable in price for what you get.

I went with Unplugged Performance for my 2015. I also had them do the paint and install. Took about four hours. Pic is of Tessie and two guys from UP, at their shop in Hawthorne (almost next door to SpaceX). They charged $1,200 for paint and install, which is very competitive. Since I had them do the work, they threw in a magnetic front license plate mount, which was very cool.

Yes UP will do it for about 1/2 the price of other shops. It’s also cuz they have done a ton of them and their directions apparently are not very detailed for most shops which take days to complete not including paint. If you’re close enough to make the trip I would def have them do it over any other shop. They typically charge $1,500 but usually will do it for less especially if you bring up the fact that they state it takes 3 hrs to install it (they can do it in as little as an hour and 30 minutes sometimes. Other shops will generally charge double or they mistakenly charge the same or less assuming it will only take 3 hrs but end up having the car for a few days. I didn’t think it was very difficult however I only installed for fitment and did not transfer the parts over which would’ve taken a few hrs at most. The problem is when you transfer the parts it will not fit as easy and you will need a partner to do it so you can avoid certain parts hitting the frame not allowing it to fit flush. I personally wouldn’t transfer the louvers cause I think a mesh grill cut out looks better and will cool the battery just as well as block rocks etc from hitting. The biggest issue is the gap which can be horrendous and various based on the manufacturer date. I also like the oem v-stripe compared to UP’s but they made theirs so that it is taller since the hood has a larger gap that their hardware covers. There are ways to remedy this if wanting to use the oem v-stripe especially if you want to have a chrome v-stripe. Overall their bumper looks great. My other gripe would be that you can’t really add a front splitter to it except for a maxton one which is why I chose to sell it cause it would have been higher than the side skirts.
Another way to fix the ‘T’ emblem from sitting to far back is to use multiple ones since you are using the old T emblem from the prefacelift S you can add as many as necessary on top of each other.
Here is an example of a terrible one.

Adding multiple emblems would have greatly improved this conversion
