What's your 90%?

I am a new owner of a 2013 S85 with 96K miles. I get about 225 at 90%, so I calculate 225/.9 = 250. 250/265 = 94% or about 6% loss. Never charged to 100% in the two weeks I've owned the vehicle. Over 1000 miles of driving since I've had it, about 300wh/m. I do note the actual miles driven and the estimated range track track pretty well while driving, but overall there is a fair amount of loss over a few days that reduce range 20 miles or so. i.e, i'll never get the 225 miles out of it, more like 200, and since I don't drive to zero% battery, it really is a lot less range.

Almost exactly the same for my 2016 P90D.
Sadly, my 2015 90D only gets about 10 more miles in each category.

Don't worry though, Tesla engineers have confirmed there are no indications that there is a problem with the battery.
I said "can you check on my car I only get a range of 250ish miles on my 90D@ 100%"
They say "we checked, everything is fine, you should get 294"

After reviewing both vehicles, there are no indications that there is a problem with the battery. The P90D has an EPA range of 253 miles. A 90D has an EPA range of 294 miles. Be advised that this range is calculated based on optimal driving conditions and actual range may vary based on driving habits, charging practices, environmental factors, as well as normal battery degradation.

I know people complain about tesla's communications, but this ranks right up there with quoting the price of the car after applying a "gas savings" or charging leasers for a full self driving option that they knew never would work at any time during the lease term.
 
My 90% is now 298 miles
Was 301 new as I recall.
(Mathematically 301.5 is 90% of 335)
So theoretically my 100% is 331.111...
For a loss of ~1.16% of range in ~14 months
Not even sure this is degradation...

Was 241 fully charged when I bought the car over a year ago, so I lost 3% “quickly” despite charging to 100% only a handful of times. Not a huge deal, but hopefully doesn’t keep going down at that clip.
 
How did you report 242... the brand new range was 240? :cool:
It's always been about that. When I lost track of time at the supercharger at the Casey Jones museum in Jackson, TN two years ago I came out to 245 miles and trickle charging/balancing. My actual consumption and mileage have always matched the numbers, so I don't think it's a calibration error. I also have zero degradation at 13,000 miles. I've looked up the revision number on the battery sticker to verify that it's a 70. I just got lucky.

218 @90% (219 w/range mode)

I usually charge to 80%. It has been consistent for a long time; 2 or 3 years. When I got it back from a drive unit swap (unfamiliar noise; so new DU) about a month ago, I noticed the range was a few miles down. Confirmed today, 90% is reduced from 221. Coincidence? Balance? Calibration?
Still not disappointed.
