I'm going to be turning in my Model S lease in a few months and will probably get another one. I don't really like the looks of the current 19" wheels and because I live in Pa (Pothole City) I'm a little concerned about getting the 21" wheels. I'm thinking of maybe getting some aftermarket 19" or, possibly, 20" wheels. Any recommendations for reasonably priced aftermarket wheels? Thanks!
I like these Milanni Splinter 20" wheels. https://www.discounttire.com/buy-wheels/milanni-splinter/p/59626
Also, because i went from silver to grey, i had to find grey center caps.... dont waste your time online if you need center caps, just call your SC and they will sell them for 15$ a piece... i had paid 120$ online for silvers in the past, the last thing i expected was Tesla to be the cheapest place for center caps but they had no problem getting them for me...63$ out the door for 4.
I live in PA running 22”. Just pay attention and keep the tires inflated. No problem. If you’re willing to spend the money buy forged. If a pothole does manage to bite it the rim is more likely to just bend instead of shatter.
I'll have to get back to you on part of your question, as I just picked up my tires yesterday...I know im gonna give up ride quality in the noise dept but i got em for looks....roads aren't bad around my side of town.... here is my 19 oem and my 21
