Wheel spacers for M3 LR AWD 2021 on 19 inch v2 alloys

Hi,

New member here. Took delivery of my M3 LR AWS in UK on 31st Dec. Loving the car so far. The front wheels were out of balance by 20, so had to get them fixed at a local shop. Was causing some high frequency vibratins at high speeds on the motorway (above 60 mph). I still have some vibrations through the floor/chassis. Almost like how it would feel if a chewing gum was attached to the tyres and it vibratres the chassis at high speeds

However, onto the main question. I have ordered H&R lowering springs for mine which should be arriving today. However, the stance could do improving with spacers. I have read through quite a few posts, and most threads pertain to M3P wheel spacers.

So for my LR AWD, would it correct to choose 15mm for the fronts and 20mm for the rear? or should I got 5mm front and 20mm rear? A bit confused since I have seen pics of LR AWS with Performance upgrade package suggesting 5mm for the fronts. In my case I do not have PUP. However I have 19" flat design (new V2 series) slloys, and NOT the standard 18" aeros.

I have e-mailed Boxsport yesterday and waiting to hear form them. Alternatively, I am unable to understand the difference from DRS-MZ and DRM series for H&R Trax, They seem to sell 14mm, 17mm and 20mm for Tesla Model 3. I suppose I could order 14mm for the fronts and 20mm for the rears?

Anyone please? Would also like to see any pics of lowered M3LR on the new 19” alloys from 2021 facelift). Hoping H&R don’t end up slamming the car and I have to go for Eibachs again

No, I ended up swapping 20" performance alloys instead, That added a bit of offset as is. I have got 5mm spacers with me, going to try that soon.

I ended doing just this, H&R springs and spacers and 19s. 20mm at the back and the front I went with 5mm but the lugs didn't fully tighten so I removed them. I was going to change the lugs but tbh the stance is so much better now that I've not bothered. If you look at mine head on you can see it needs a little to be flush at the front, like the rears.

Surprisingly the H&Rs were supposed to be a subtle drop but was alot more than what I was expecting. I wouldn't say slammed but now I'm having to watch out for humps.

Nice one. I ended up swapping my 19" v2 with the pre-refresh 20". Also added Maxton front lip and rear diffuser with H&R springs. I have 15mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front. Pretty pleased with the results.

That looks really nice! Did you have to change your front lugs to get the 5mm spacer in? I've been toying with the Maxton rear diffuser, with it being lowered do you find it rubs or any issues over humps?

No rubbing with the diffuser. I do get some rubbing on the front splitter at speed or 20mph zones. I did not change the lugs. 5mm spacer is pretty thin anyway.
