Hi All

I am getting a 2018 MS 75D red color in a month or so. I am deciding whether to get the 19" Grey Slipstream Wheels that is is offered by tesla or get the below wheels. can someone please answer my below questions;

1) is OZ a good brand
2) Tire rack said that they dont have 2018 tesla in their database yet. if OZ is a good brand, where can i find these wheels for a 2018 MS or will the 2017 wheel spec fit the 2018 MS as well.

Checkout tsportline.com they're running a sale through end of year. i just bought 20" turbines from them for my 75D

My vote is the gray Slipstreams. I generally prefer OEM rims as you will never have any doubts about their structural integrity. My local Tesla SC says they will not work on aftermarket wheels at all. So new tires, rotations, or any other issues would need to be done at an alternate shop.

Thanks for your responses. I really like to have a white set of wheels for my red car. I checked out tsportline.com but they dont seem to have white 19" wheels. any suggestions.

Powder coat what you want. Tesla won't work on the powdercoated rims but you'll have the color you want.

word to the wise: I recently purchased a full set of TSportline 19” wheels to replace my original 21” Tesla wheels, and in one week have TWO opposite wheels that are now bent beyond use because Tsportline wheels are CAST, NOT FORGED and unrepairable. I would strongly suggest that anyone in a northern climate where potholes are prevalent, to not buy TSportline wheels or other cast wheels, unless you don’t mind the expense and headaches. I replaced my original Tesla wheels to get snow tires and was thinking that I’d get away from the slow leaking and occasional wheel repairs, but at least the wheels were repairable; these can only be thrown away. I’m thinking of replacing the entire set of wheels again now. A hard lesson, but wiser now.

TSportline wheels are CAST wheels and if bent by a pothole, are unrepairable and must be thrown away.

Call GP Frame And Wheel Wheel Straightening Gerry Piazza before you toss them. Normally a cast wheel can be repaired if it's just dented from a pothole. Gerry can tell you more.

I know that. Had to rebalance two of mine because of vibrations. Turns out they were off by almost 3oz! On another note, bending a wheel is not new. Just need the right size pothole

Thanks. I called Elite Rim Repair, who repairs wheels for the local Tesla service facility and TSportline, both said that cast wheels are not repairable.

I heard back from Gerry, and he said he is only able to repair cast motorcycle wheels, but thanks anyway.
