Wheelsco Winter Tire Group Buy for GTA

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
I have set up a group buy for Model 3 owners in the GTA for winter tires. We need five buyers to activate the deal. Ask for the ‘flux capacitor’ deal

Please indicate your interest in this thread so we all know if we have five.

The discount would be $150 off the final tax in price. So for instance if you took the RENN rims, Continentals and sensors it would be $900(tires)+$699(wheels) + $250 (sensors) + $13.20 (environment fee)=$1862.20 + HST=$2104.29. Less the $150 discount=$1954.29 all in on the road.

You also can then apply for the rebate from Continental which is $65.

Packages must be purchased and paid in full by October 20. Prices are plus HST and $3.30 per tire for the environmental fee. Sensors are $250 for the set.

I was looking at this in a bit more detail and I think you guys should try and push for a better deal....

The Kijiji ad offers $100 off after tax already, and the group buy only adds another $50 after tax, so effectively you are getting a $44.25 discount on something costing close to 2k...that's about 2%

Thinking of it another way, if you get 5 people to order that's close to 10k of revenue for them...they should be able to wiggle a little more than 2% for that IMHO...

Not trying to be an ass, just pointing out something to help my fellow model 3 peeps ;)

All I can say is that personally my goal was to be under 2k for winters and rims. I offered simply tire and kal tire both 2k for the continentals with rims and sensors and was told no way. So with the rebate, this gets me to $1870 or so. If you can find a better deal in one stop shopping I’d love to know where. Id join that group. So their price for wheels is less but for the tires I want they’re $127 more.
