hello all,

when it is below freezing level, my model 3 brake makes loud squeaky sound while backing out by pressing down and releasing brake pedal. I asked Tesla service about this issue and what is the cause. They told me the noise is due to moisture build up over night that cause the semi metallic brake materials to temporarily stick together. According to them, there is not too much we can do with out region current environmental factors. They recommend that once we drive the car and brake a few times the moisture build up will wipe away.

For those of you who owns model3 in cold weather, do you have the same issue? I just find a bit embrassing that my cool looking new car is making annoying loud squeaky sounds when I back up from parking space next to a BMW driver lol...
