When plugged in keep the battery warm

Would anyone else appreciate it if there was an option to keep the battery at some configurable or preset temperature to minimize regen limitations and range losses in cold weather? A few days ago I had mostly dots and very limited regen and the temperature was abut 30 degrees.

Why is limited regen such a big problem?

Warming it means that you are going to use more power to save a little power.

Sure, driving is a little different, but hopefully you can handle it, as I hope that the Tesla isn't the only car you will ever drive again.

Efficiency is not important to me. I didn't buy a performance version for efficiency. If it was I would get more than 200 miles from a charge I get in the best of circumstances. I also want single pedal driving right out of the garage.

I agree a finish charging by X would also be a help. Right now I start charging around 6AM so the battery will be warm when I go out, but how much charge I have when I leave (because I don't leave at a set time) is a guessing game.
