Where are you getting 0% financing from? Would love to know as I'd go that route if there was an option.
I have Tesla solar and a few powerwalls- I pre-ordered a performance (highest margin) model 2 weeks ago and took delivery today.
The key things to note are the highest cost model, existing customer (my M3 was in the 5ks), Solar/Powerwall, and I still lucked out as someone couldn't do the financing for the exact model I was looking for in Colorado.... look to the total investment and a bit of luck and you can get an idea of your spot in the queue

I doubt combining products or prior customer has anything to do with when your order drops these days. Tesla is a full on car company and doesn’t have time to give the VIP treatment outside the internal favorites. It’s coming down to timing and location of where they want deliveries to go.
Enjoy your solar and power walls along with both cars! Hopefully you last through this mess to enjoy it all!!!
Great point across products, it doesn't matter- I think they are sticking to a performance version and get the best press and happy customers out of the gate (some of their best press)
Plus higher revenues for Q1 earnings, although selling the white interior with 3rd row seat would boost that further. I'm guessing they didn't go that route because they had higher preorders for the black interior / no 3rd row and it was easier to just build those first then changeover the line to the other configurations.
I ordered 2 weeks ago, paid $100, and my delivery date is confirmed (supposedly) next week. There was a guy on reddit who ordered it day 1, paid $2500 AND lives near the freemont factory and still has no delivery date. crazy

I'm good with it taking a few months for the factory to hopefully open back up and production to resume.

I did it. I changed my order to PUP! I figure I will just have the wheels powder coated black. I am going to order a pair of lightweight rims from tire rack.

White Performance / White interior performance upgrade. No FSD.
I called Tesla and they said it was the only one of my spec delivered to Tampa and the guy who ordered it cancelled before delivery. So I fell right into his queue.
