Am I the only one who is surprised that Tesla doesn't have stock of the Dual Motor badges yet? Surely those badges can be made relatively quickly in large quantities - it's not like building a battery or motor :p

I think Tesla has net 60 terms but badge supplier is now COD.

They aren’t buying funding secured assurances anymore.

So probably 2019Q1 after positive FCF under GAAP.

Still deciding if I'll even put it on the car if/when I get one.

No option for "3 months maybe, 6 months definitely"? I thought that was standard by now. :)

I only care b/c i’m mine ceramic coated and badges probably don’t adhere as well to ceramic coating.

If the 8 week lead time for the "Model 3 Aero Wheel Cap Kit" which is basically 4 wheel caps and 20 lug caps are any indication... I'm not holding my breath for the Dual Motor badges to be available to us any time soon. #TeslaTime

I remember when people on car forums were desperate to de-badge their cars.

Buy some de-badged lettering from people.

DUALP or DP might be fun for the sensitive. Not your fault though if they're behind you. Haha.

FWIW when I ordered mine, with the 8 week lead time listed, it shipped the next day.

The charging cables on the other hand, listed in stock, didn't ship for another 2 weeks.

Not that I have a car to use either with yet or anything :)

I just asked again about spoilers and badges, One guy said that he heard next year! I don’t believe that, but it could be weeks or even months. Presumably there is a batch being made overseas. I may hear more today.

It's funny because if I order the P3D instead of an MS after my lease is up, the first thing I will do is take the Dual Motor badge off. I don't care to let people know which model I have...I rather them think it's the SR. lol
