Delivery is on Saturday 7/21, all I see is:

Your delivery profile is complete.
We will use the information you have provided to generate documentation required for your delivery.

As your delivery date approaches, we will contact you to review documentation, pay your final balance, and accept delivery of your Model 3.

I was supposed to take delivery tomorrow and I still don't have mine. We pushed my delivery to Saturday due to that and the car being delayed on the truck.

The contracts team is very backed up. I lit a fire under my ISA today because I wasn't getting replies and ended up escalating through sales support + delivery center since I have to fly 300 miles to pick up the car and I still don't have the document. Now that we have delayed until Saturday I am hopeful I will get the doc soon.

It's been a frustrating experience so far. I did get good customer service from Sales Support and the delivery team in Bellevue, but I had to escalate through them to get the attention of my ISA on this issue.

My final purchase agreement was available a day after I made my final payment. It wasn't available online but my ISA provided to me since I needed to finalize my loan portion with my CU. I would ask your ISA for a copy. They should have it as long as the finance people finalized everything in your profile.

Curious about this too as I'm in the same situation. Conditionally approved for my loan, while the rest will be paid via cash/trade-in. But I can't be 100% approved for the loan until I provide the Final MVPA.

I have a delivery scheduled for 7/20, so I'm in the same boat and here's what I did:

Called the Delivery Center directly and requested the MVPA. They generated one and sent it to me. I then combined it with my existing Order Agreement and signed it. I sent the signed MVPA to my lender and that seems to be good enough for them to fund the loan. Of course, they could call me tomorrow and say that's NOT good enough, but I haven't heard back from them saying that they need anything else, so I'm assuming the funding is good to go.

Is what the Delivery Center sent you a Pro-Forma MVPA?

How is everyone dealing with this in regards to their lender needing the final MVPA to fund the transaction?

Good question. The CU wants the final MVPA before they can pay Tesla, all I have is the pro-forma version.

For the remaining amount, I plan to take a cashier's check (since there's no option to do ACH from mytesla yet).

Any remaining balance (hopefully $0) will be paid by personal check onsite.

You would think Tesla has figured out this by now

Reading through the email with my ISA again from a couple of days ago...here's how I interpret the steps she laid out.

  1. Pre-approval letter (from wherever I get my loan - Done)
  2. I (ISA) submit the paperwork for delivery (Before this, I imagine I need to hear back about my trade in quote I submitted 4 business days ago)
  3. Our team will send you the final docs needed for your lender to cut a check. This can take up to 48 hours. (Final MVPA?)
  4. Once your lender has received the final paperwork, please have them cut a check and send it to my office
  5. When your payment arrives to my office, we will schedule you 14 days from that date.

Based on my own experience and my brother’s recent experience, you will be receiving either an email or a phone call from Tesla ISA today or tomorrow at the latest. Once the delivery date along with all personal info on the car, they will email you a final pricing sheet. U need to sign it electronically and send it back to them. The sales operation manager will sign his section on same day or a day later and the final signed copy of the final pricing sheet will be forwarding to you. Then u will see a link to make an on-line payment for the non-finance amount. It will happen pretty fast in the 3 day time frame of your delivery date. Hope that it helps you.

My delivery appointment is on 7/19 and no documents yet. ISA says it will be in my account by tonight or morning. I am worried as well.

Just relax. They are very busy delivering new cars lately. Since u are in San Jose, they will offer you a home delivery option which I accepted. If u r financing your new car, the bank can approve your auto loan (bring a copy of a signed final pricing sheet with u) and issue a cashier in a same day or next. You will get your car soon. Driving that M3 is amazing and love all car features at the touch of a screen. Audio sound is superb.

Emailing the final pricing sheet is where Tesla is really struggling right now. Per my multiple conversations with Tesla, the contracts team is backed up and they are the ones responsible for generating these documents. They are not doing this in a timely manner.

My ISA forwarded me the last communication she received from them yesterday. I have redacted the names.

Hi xxxx,

We are working on documents for all customers taking delivery over the next 48 hours. We appreciate your patience and will get to this as soon as we are able.

Thanks,

xxxxxx | Contract Specialist, Finance Operations

Based on this it sounds like they are only working on deliveries that are about to happen, which makes the funding steps very difficult since we need to get docs to our lenders and some of us need to make ACH transactions which is unlocked by getting the docs signed.

If your auto loan is pre-approved, the lender can approve your loan and issue a cashier within hours on the same day. Make sure you hand in a copy of your final signed pricing sheet to your loan rep. You will pay the non-finance amount on line once the link is open after the sales operation manger signed the final pricing sheet. For my case, it all happened within 3 days of delivery date. Relax. You will get ur M3 shortly.

I cannot relax since I only have 48 hours to delivery. :) I cannot wait to get into it, close all doors, and take a deep breath in. Only then I can relax. This excitement is more than a pregnant woman before her delivery I think.
