When will the final purchase agreement appear?

Had a very good experience at the Atlanta delivery center today. They acccepted my personal check for the difference between my loan and the balance. I had about two hours to inspect and be briefed about the car. Drew was very patient and thorough. They'll send the mobile team in a couple weeks to address two paint blemishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the 160 mile ride home. My wife is happy.

Dave, what I planned to do was use the dmv taxes and fees estimate and get a cashiers check for a little under that (as to not go over) and write a check for the remain balance .

This is of course only if the final agreement doesn’t come by Saturday.

That’s a good back up plan. I didn’t want to guesstimate but better than nothing. Couple questions.

1. How much will Tesla let us write a personal check for? $2000 or under?

2. If we don’t get MVPA can we still show up to our appointment?

From what I have heard, the delivery center can rush around and come up with the final paper work as well. So I’d defiantly go. They want to move these cars.

As far as the personal check, I think it’s up to their discretion. I have heard of people paying the whole $50k with a personal check so I would not worry about $2-$5k.

Sounds good. Hopefully we receive something soon but if not then just get cashiers check for majority and write check for difference.

Well, I was able to finally get them to post the MVPA, all was good with that. Signed it and returned it. Then was able to make my final payments for delivery. Those all went fine. However, my ISA just called a few minutes ago and said the car is not being delivered to the SC until tomorrow, so they will have to delay the delivery for a day to Thursday (7/19). Ugh...

How long did it take to get the MVPA?

It is now 6 PM CT, and I am scheduled to pick up my M3 in less than 17 hours in Atlanta. Will be driving tomorrow morning to Atlanta, and so no longer expect to have the documents before my arrival there. My loan is a signature loan and I don't think the CU needs pricing details. Will find out, won't I? Everyone says Tesla is swamped, but they're missing some self-imposed deadlines for sure. It isn't their finest hour, and I hope they scale up delivery steps to accommodate increased production.

Good luck, Decatur (ATL) just delayed me a day as the car is won't even be there until tomorrow.

I didn’t get it unti about 18 hours before original delivery day. And that was having to call my ISA to see where it was. They then had to delay my delivery 1 day (ie TODAY). And yes the car is awesome. Had a nice 150 mile drive today.

Got my Final MVPA. Last time I checked was about 11 am then looked again at 5 pm today. Do we need to sign anything at this point?

Dave , did the final paperwork appear in the account by the lemon law disclosure? Just wondering where to look for it.
It’s above my lemon law disclosure.

Just saw this thread and called up the local delivery specialist, she was able to email me the final MVPA. I was able to locate the VIN as 5YJ3E1EB1JF081527. I had placed an order for the M3P+ on Oct 26. I tried to decode the VIN and to my horror realized the "B" in the VIN stands for a standard motor AWD. Could someone confirm my fears? The delivery specialist had no clue about what I was talking about and said my order is for the performance model!

How do we figure out who the delivery person/adivser is? So far I have only had contact with my initial OA. I received the text message with a delivery date. But I'm also waiting on the official MVPA so my credit union can send me a check. I don't have a VIN yet either. Interestingly, if I click into my "Order Agreement" I do get a PDF that says "Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement", but it doesn't include the taxes and fees. I assume that's just a place holder.

Cash buyer here as well. I did not receive a MVPA nor VIN. I contacted my IDA and he said it should have posted to my account. However he emailed me a PDF version. The MVPA had the VIN in it

I asked him if I need to sign it and return it. He said no that it was for my records and share with my tax advisor at tax time.
