When will the next text blast happen?

Alright Q2 is almost over and I am anxiously awaiting Tesla to communicate with me about when I might receive a car. I haven't received any texts yet. Any guesses on when we might see the next text blast?

I would imagine, tomorrow morning there will be an 8-12 weeks text to all of us who got shut out this quarter.

That would be a real blow considering the estimated delivery for new orders was 4-8 weeks on May 29.

4 weeks from 5/29 is the end of the quarter. 12 weeks from 7/1 is the EOQ.

Tesla pushes to get all the local inventory delivered before EOQ.

After July 1st they will begin shipping to Europe and Asia, so those cars will be delivered in time for the next EOQ.

It can take months to get off continent deliveries shipped and staged for the next rush.

This allows them to optimize world wide deliveries to optimize qualterly results.

Been going on for years.

As more European and Asian Gigafactories get up to speed this will, of course, change.
