When will the rear camera be able to record or does it already have the capability?

I had situation where a someone who ran up on me at high rate of speed like he was trying to figure what I was driving and it kinda scared me. Just wish I had that ability to see that. I have a glimpse of the car on my driver side camera as I turned into my neighborhood.

The cameras are not positioned to see directly in front of the bumper, so no 360 (at least the 360 you are thinking of).
